Like many of today’s Chicana artists, Leslie was raised in East Los Angeles and its surrounding communities. Naturally, she approaches her work with a 3rd generation perspective, incorporating traditional icons from the past, but mainly focuses her concepts on present day life.

Leslie holds a BFA in Graphic Design from California College of Arts & Crafts, now known as California College of the Arts in Oakland, California.

Currently, Leslie is a member of The Native Agents art collective and in the last year has shown at various local Los Angeles spaces.  Leslie was also a co-founder of Adupteyshun LLC., a web-community design firm, which was acquired and transformed into an online community for kids, where she currently works as Senior Art Director.
